Dr. Ben Coulter
Meet the Pastor Monday • Ben Coulter
Pastor Ben Coulter has served as Senior Pastor of Lifeline Baptist Church for the past year. In addition to his role as senior pastor, he currently serves as Interim Worship Pastor and helps lead the church’s youth ministry. Ben has spent 14 years in full-time ministry, serving churches in Snyder, Monticello, Wheatley, Magnolia, Malvern, and throughout the Little Rock metropolitan area. Ben was raised in Montrose, Arkansas.
Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Ministry from Central Baptist College, a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ben is married to Sheffield, and together they have three children: James, Sheffield Elisabeth, and Luke. As a family, they love serving in ministry together and believe that no one is ever too young to join in God’s mission. Whether serving in the local church, building relationships in the community, or participating in mission opportunities, the Coulter family seeks to live out the gospel together.
Ben is passionate about discipling and equipping believers to share the gospel, make disciples, and develop multiplying disciple-makers. His ministry is shaped by the vision of Revelation 7:9—a future gathering of every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping before the throne of God. He desires to see Lifeline Baptist become a healthy, gospel-centered church that reflects this biblical vision through a growing multiethnic and multigenerational congregation committed to making disciples locally and globally. Ben has a deep desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled.
