Dr. Jonathan Curtis

Executive Director

Dr. Jonathan Curtis serves as the Executive Director of the Pulaski Baptist Association. Before stepping into this role, he spent over three decades in pastoral ministry, most recently serving as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church in Little Rock. Throughout his ministry he has also invested in the next generation as a longtime Bible teacher at The Baptist Preparatory School and as an adjunct professor for several seminaries.

Dr. Curtis has been closely connected to the Pulaski Baptist Association for many years, serving on various leadership teams including the moderator. He and the church he pastored were actively involved in the association’s Dominican Republic church planting partnership and other cooperative ministry efforts.

Dr. Curtis holds a Ph.D. in Foundations of Christian Education, a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education, all from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to Scripture, leadership development, and helping churches work together for greater Kingdom impact.

Jonathan and his wife of 30 years, Lori, live in Little Rock. Lori serves as the librarian at Central High School. They have one daughter, Isabella, who is a junior at Baptist Prep.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC CHURCH PLANTERS

Through the strength of Southern Baptists working together, ten churches are being planted in the Dominican Republic. The churches of the Pulaski Baptist Association directly support four of these church planters and their families as they share the Gospel, disciple new believers, and establish healthy local churches. Together, we are seeing the Gospel advance through partnership and cooperation.
